The dimmed position is nice to ensure that your partner does not have to be woken up immediately by a pimple light from the bedroom or hall. The lamp remembers the last selected color scheme or scene. The dimmed mode can also be used in the Hue Go, if you have to get out of bed at night. In the dimmed position, the light is really barely present, which helps with falling asleep. If I go to bed at bedtime, the Hue Go lends itself perfectly as a lamp for the bedroom. For example as a spotlight under one of the plants, or with the help of the "Candle effect" to create more atmosphere.
